Last week we were delighted to welcome the fantastic Anita Klein in to the studio to collaborate on a new screen print edition with the studio and The Hepatitis C Trust.
The artwork has been created through hand drawing and block printing on to True-Grain for the screen print process as opposed to a digitised reproduction, adding to the subtleties of the imagery. This piece is the latest in a new series of works by twenty artists that will form part of the Art On A Postcard collection launching with a gallery show next Tuesday 12th April at Jealous, Shoreditch.
The project started as a postcard donation by artists to help raise money for the Hepatitis C Trust,
with a selection of artists going on to make print editions with us at the studio. This has ranged from digital prints, hybrid prints and fully screen
printed editions such as Anita’s. Other works included in the new portfolio include prints by David Shrigley, Ceal Warnants, The Connor Brothers, John
Wragg, Gavin Turk to name but a few. We are all very excited by the imminent launch and look forward to seeing you at the Private View next Tuesday
in our East London space.
St George's Hospital Charity X Adam Bridgland
St George’s Hospital Charity is celebrating saying thank you to our healthcare heroes with the launch of the SGHC X Adam Bridgland collection in partnership with Jealous Gallery. The works are all celebratory. They are about trying to discover positivity every day and the strength from the possibilities that a new day or new place can provide. At present this particularly resonates.More
