Andrew J Millar

Andrew Millar, born in 1983 is a British artist, based in Whitechapel, whose main body of work focuses on the portrait. Early on he became fascinated by various print processes as well as photography. It was only a matter of time until the autodidact came about the classic and almost forgotten Polaroid film more than a decade ago. He has since been pushing the limits and exploring the manipulative potential of this light sensitive material for his collages. Andrew creates work that stands out with ingenious use of acrylic and leaf’s of delicate metal, meticulously adding intricate details to their art, as a Result high quality art is produced. Millar is taking his visual elements from countless sources, then combining these in quiet, sometimes somber, surreal duo-chromatic portraits. There is definite elegance to his detailed works, which make them seem like classic orthodox icons of anonymous saints or posters of forgotten movies and heroines. In recent years Andrew Millar’s work has become increasingly popular and his talent has earned him international recognition with solo exhibitions in Paris, Amsterdam, Berlin, Barcelona, New York, and London.Recently exhibiting his work at the Saatchi gallery London in jun 2020, as well as the other art fair in los Angeles march 2019.

Umbrella by Sir Michael Craig-Martin

Umbrella is produced as a four-colour
screenprint with a varnish overlay on 410gsm Somerset Tub Sized Radiant White
paper. 

Each work measures 50 × 50cm and is signed and editioned by the artist, with a certificate of authenticity.

Umbrella is available from Tuesday 10
November 2026 at £1,300 per print or £3,500 for the complete set of three.
