Faile is a collective of artists formed in 2000 and based in New York. Combining the talent of Patrick McNeil and Patrick Miller, with graphic artist Aiko Nakagawa, the collective have become establsihed in the street art canon, and now work on canvas is extremely valuable and collectible. The hand finished elements and abundance of detail and graphic work in the trios prints and canvasses make complex and beautiful imagery with references to manga, film posters, advertising and fine art drawing. Exhibited at Shanghai Sculpture Space, the Baltic Centre in Newcastle and New Image in Los Angeles, Faile have recently collaborated with up and coming street artist Swoon. Recent inclusion in the Tate Modern street Art show, and a large scale installation at the Lilian Baylis Old School in London will undoubtedly secure Faile as important contemporary artists beyond the street art scene.
