Allan D'Arcangelo was an American painter and printmaker. Best known for his paintings of highways and road signs, his reputation as a Pop artist was established with these works in 1963. Exhibited widely both in America and Europe, D'Arcangelo's work is held in the collections of the Tate, Whitney Museum of American Art and the Walker Art Center in Minneapolis.
