Ian Gonczarow was chosen as our Jealous Graduate Print Prize winner from the MA Fine Art degree at Goldsmiths. Ian lives and works in London and Moscow. He was born 1975 in Lancashire. He lived and worked in the northeast of England until 2007. During this period his work developed a greater engagement with political issues. Ian has been living and working in London since 2006 and is a graduate from the MFA Art Practice at Goldsmiths University of London. In 2008 Ian was selected to represent Goldsmiths in the Red Mansion Art Prize. This involved a residency in Beijing and subsequent show at the Slade Research Centre in Woburn Place.
Ian teaches onto the Art and Design Foundation course at the British Higher School of Art and Design in Moscow.
