Jessica Albarn
Jessica Albarn is known for her fascination with insects; particularly Spiders and Bees.
This has led her into the land of Faerie with her first book ‘The Boy in the Oak’ which she has written and illustrated. It is a dark tale where it is never wise to trust a Faerie. She has recently made a short film of the book and is currently working towards the feature whilst drawing more bees!
This print was produced for the 2011 Ghosts of Gone Birds Portfolio/Exhibition at the Rochelle School and is now part of the V&A print collection.
